This fireplace features a Nova Brick mortar-less brick system. The mantle is made out of a bridge plank that was sanded down and clear coated to match the pine finish in the rest of the basement. The Nova Brick can be cut to match any angle of the wall it has to match up to. The close-up picture shows that there is no gap between the bricks to give you more continuity to your brick.
